| kebab-case | the-quick-brown-fox |
| CONSTANT_CASE | THE_QUICK_BROWN_FOX |
How to use it
- Paste or type your text into “Your text”, or select “Try a sample” to see how it works.
- Under “Convert to”, choose the case you want. The result updates as you type.

Examples
- A heading typed with Caps Lock on:
WEEKLY SALES REPORTin sentence case isWeekly sales report. - A column name for a database:
First Namein snake_case isfirst_name. - A variable from an API field:
user_idin camelCase isuserId, andXMLHttpRequestin kebab-case isxml-http-request. - A list of labels: with one label per line, each line is converted on its own, so
Order DateandShip Datebecomeorder-dateandship-dateon separate lines.
Good to know
- Letters with accents and other alphabets are converted too:
straßein uppercase isSTRASSE, andΟΔΟΣin lowercase isοδος. Scripts without capital letters, such as Chinese or Arabic, stay as they are. - Title case capitalizes every word, including short ones such as “a”, “of” and “the”. Style guides that keep those lowercase vary, so adjust them by hand if your guide asks for it.
- Sentence case starts a new sentence after a full stop, question mark, exclamation mark or ellipsis followed by a space, and at the start of each line. A sentence that begins with a number keeps its next word lowercase.
- The prose modes keep your spacing, line breaks, punctuation and emoji exactly. The code modes keep line breaks but drop spaces, punctuation and emoji, because identifiers can’t contain them.
- The limit is 1,000,000 characters per conversion.
