What these tools are for
Date and time tools do the counting behind deadlines, notice periods, trips and anniversaries. The days between dates calculator counts the days from one date to another, and shows the same span in years, months and days, in weeks and in hours. It can include the end date, and it counts back to a past date as a negative number.
How they work
The dates are worked out by your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and there’s no account or sign-up. Open a calculator and it starts from today, with an answer already showing; change a date and the answer follows.
Tips
- Every calculator shows how it got its answer, and Copy result puts the answer on your clipboard.
- Dates follow the Gregorian calendar, so leap years and the different lengths of months are counted for you.
- Whole days are counted, with no times of day, so time zones and daylight saving don’t change the result.
