What it does
The fancy text generator writes your text in five styles at once, each made of Unicode characters:
Bold: 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲
Small caps: Gᴏᴏᴅ ᴠɪʙᴇꜱ ᴏɴʟʏ
Cursive: 𝒢ℴℴ𝒹 𝓋𝒾𝒷ℯ𝓈 ℴ𝓃𝓁𝓎
Strikethrough: G̶o̶o̶d̶ v̶i̶b̶e̶s̶ o̶n̶l̶y̶
Upside down: ʎluo sǝqıʌ poo⅁
How to use it
Type or paste your text into “Your text”. Select “Try a sample” to see an example.
The five styles appear next to your text and update as you type.
Select the Copy button next to a style to put that style on your clipboard, then paste it into your bio, post or message.
Good to know
Letters with accents keep them: é becomes 𝐞́ in Bold.
Characters without a styled form, such as emoji and the letters of other scripts, stay as they are. Upside down also turns some punctuation around, such as ? to ¿ and ! to ¡.
Upside down reads from the end: the last line comes first, and each line is written backwards.
Limits
Your text can be up to 100,000 characters long.
Privacy
Your text is processed on your device: the work runs in your browser, and nothing you type or paste is uploaded or kept.

Frequently asked questions
Why are the styles Unicode characters and not a font?
A post or a bio can't carry a font, only characters. Unicode has styled copies of the Latin letters, such as the Mathematical Bold and Script letters, small capital letters and letters that look upside down, so the tool swaps each letter for its styled character. The result is ordinary text that you can paste wherever text goes.
Where does fancy text work?
Wherever Unicode text is accepted, such as most social media bios, posts, comments and chat apps. A device whose fonts lack one of the characters shows a box or another symbol in its place, and some name fields accept only plain letters.
Can screen readers read fancy text?
Often not well. Many screen readers read each styled letter by its character name, such as "mathematical bold capital G", or skip it, so a styled sentence can be hard to follow. Keep the important words plain and use a style for a few words of decoration.
Does fancy text show up in search?
Search may not find it. The styled letters are different characters from the plain ones, so the search of a site or app may not match them to the words you meant. Keep your name and the words people search for in plain text.
Which characters get a style?
The letters A to Z and the digits 0 to 9, also with accents, which stay on their letter. Small caps has no capitals or digits and Cursive no digits, so those stay as typed, and so do emoji and the letters of other scripts. Upside down also turns the order of the lines and of the characters in each line around, and Strikethrough puts a stroke through every character except spaces and line breaks.
How do I copy one style?
Select the Copy button next to the style: it copies that style on its own, with its line breaks. The Copy button above the styles copies all five as lines of "Style: text", and puts a style with several lines on one line.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Your text is processed on your device by your browser. It is never sent to a server, and it isn't kept for your next visit.
